LPN Education and Certification in Arkansas
To obtain a licensed practical nurse (LPN) license in Arkansas, you will need to earn your LPN degree, apply for a license and submit an $85 free, submit your transcript, become CPR certified and pass the NCLEX-PN exam.
As you begin working as an LPN in Arkansas, keep in mind that your license will need to be renewed every two years. To renew your license you can either complete 15 hours of continuing education or take one college course and earn at least a C grade. Education completed to earn your license in Arkansas must be gained through the Arkansas Board of Nursing or another approved institution.
