LPN Education and Certification in California
To work as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in California, you will need to obtain a licensed issued by the state. To qualify for a license you will need to earn your LPN degree, pass the NCLEX-PN test and become CPR certified.
When you apply for a license, you will need to provide a copy of your LPN school transcript and pay an $85 fee. Your California LPN license will need to be renewed every two years. During the two years between license renewals, you must complete 30 credit hours of continuing education.
