LPN Education and Requirements in Colorado
To work as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Colorado, you must be licensed by the Colorado Board of Nursing. Before you can apply for a license you will need to earn your LPN degree, send your transcript to the state, pass the NCLEX-PN exam and become CPR certified.
There is an $85 fee that is due when you apply for a license. You must renew your Colorado LPN license every two years. In this state, you will not need to take any continuing education courses to renew your license, like you would need to in many other states.
