LPN Education and Certification in Georgia
If you are interested in working as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Georgia, you will need to earn your LPN degree and pass the NCLEX-PN exam. After you have earned your degree you will need to apply for a license from the Georgia Board of Nursing before you can begin working.
The application process includes an $85 fee and you will be asked to submit a copy of your LPN school transcript to the board. To qualify for a license you must be CPR certified.
Your Georgia LPN license will need to be renewed every two years. In this state you won’t need to take any continuing education classes to renew your license.
