LPN Education and Certification in Maryland
To work as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Maryland, you’ll need to obtain a state license. To get a license you will need earn your LPN degree, send your school transcript to the Maryland Board of Nursing, become CPR certified and take and pass the NCLEX-PN.
There is an $85 application fee that needs to be submitted when you turn in your application. In Maryland, your license needs to renewed every two years and to qualify for renewal you will need to participate in continuing education courses.
