LPN Education and Certification in Washington
Before you can start working as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Washington you will need to earn your LPN degree. The program will help you prepare to pass the NCLEX-PN exam, which you will need to pass. After you graduate you must become CPR certified.
Then, you will apply for a license through the Washington Board of Nursing. You must be licensed to work as an LPN in this state. The application process includes an $85 fee and you will need to provide a copy of your LPN school transcript to the board.
All LPN licenses must be renewed annually in Washington. To qualify for renewal you will not need to take any continuing education courses.
