LPN Education and Certification in West Virginia
In West Virginia you must be licensed through the West Virginia Board of Nursing to work as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). To qualify for a license you must earn your LPN degree, pass the NCLEX-PN exam and become CPR certified.
The application process will include submitting a copy of your LPN school transcript and paying an $85 fee.
If you decide to keep working as an LPN here you must renew your license every year. Specific requirements for renewal can be obtained from the West Virginia Board of Nursing.
