LPN Education and Certification in Wyoming
If you want to work as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Wyoming you will need to earn your LPN degree, pass the NCLEX-PN exam and become CPR certified. In this state, you will also need to be licensed by the Wyoming Board of Nursing.
When you apply for your license you will be asked to submit a copy of your LPN school transcript. There is an $85 application fee here.
To continue working as an LPN in Wyoming you need to renew your license each year. To qualify for renewal you must complete one of four different requirements as set by the state. These are: completing 20 credit hours of continuing education classes within the past two years, finishing a refresher or re-entry course within the past five years, completing 500 practice hours within the past two years or completing 1,600 practice hours in the past five years.
